Dear Parent or Guardian,

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my excitement about working with you and your child. I am eager to get started and work to create the most positive learning environment for your child. I believe a relationship between parent/guardian and teachers is very important in helping your child succeed.  I want to take this time to reach out to you and tell you a little bit about myself.

I grew up in Mazeppa, MN and graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School.  Upon graduation I attended Hamline University where I received my degree in Physical Education and Health.  For two years I taught physical education and health at Rochester STEM Academy, a charter school in Rochester, MN.  This past year I received my Masters in Education at Concordia University-St. Paul. The 2016-2017 school year will be my third year as a Special Education Teacher here at Jordan High School. I also have a passion for coaching and currently coach Football and Golf here at Jordan.  In my free time I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family.

This school year I will be teaching multiple courses of Applied Skills, Essential Math, Consumer Math, and Co-Taught Geometry.

If at anytime you have comments, questions or concerns, I am available for phone calls and meetings (by appointment please) each day before and after school. To make the communication process easier for us, I have included my contact information at the bottom of the page.

I am excited about working with your child. I welcome questions or comments, and am looking forward to a great year!
