Greetings! My name is Katie Schuld, and I am the new choir director at Jordan High School. I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing program and community! I grew up in Green Bay, WI and attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. Before coming to Jordan, I taught in the Appleton Area School District in Appleton, WI for five years. I taught 9-12 choir at Appleton East High School and 7-8 choir at James Madison Middle School in Appleton, WI. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Music Education at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. I am heavily involved in the contemporary a cappella world. I love to arrange music and have had a lot of success directing contemporary a cappella ensembles. One of my previous all female groups advanced to the finals of the International Championships of High School A Cappella Competition in 2015, and have since won multiple "Outstanding Soloist" and "Outstanding Choreography" awards. I am so excited to bring my love of contemporary a cappella along with my passion for choral and vocal music to Jordan this year!
